My first day as a courier rider was one of the most emotional days of my working life. I was not simply going for a ride; I was beginning the first real day of the courier company I had decided to build from zero.
A motorcycle, a phone, a website and the will to work hard were turning into an Istanbul courier service with a real human story behind it.
Why I named it Ana Kurye
The word “Ana” means mother, but it also means foundation, care and protection. That is exactly how I wanted Ana Kurye to handle documents, private items, pharmacy products and urgent packages.
When someone trusts a courier with an envelope, a key, a sample or a health-related item, they are trusting more than a vehicle. They are trusting a person.
A brand built from the road
Ana Kurye did not begin as a distant logistics project. It began with real road experience, direct customer communication and the discipline needed to complete each delivery properly.
The first day taught me that a courier company only becomes real when a customer trusts it with a real task and the team completes that task with care.
