This was one of those ordinary-looking days that actually tells the truth about building a small courier company. Before anything else, there was normal life: taking out the trash, walking down to the motorcycle, checking the locks, checking the equipment and getting ready to cross Istanbul.
People sometimes imagine motorcycle life as glamorous from the outside. The real version is simpler and harder. No elevator, no doorman, no one carrying the daily responsibilities for you. But there is a motorcycle, and on this day that motorcycle had to take me from Kadikoy to Beylikduzu for Ana Kurye’s website work.
A courier company is not built only on the road. It is also built in the website, in search results, in customer trust and in every small operational detail.
Starting the day with motorcycle checks
Before riding out, I checked the motorcycle the way I do every day. Disc lock, long chain, tracking device, camera system and the usual safety details all matter to me. For Ana Kurye, the motorcycle is not only transportation. It is part of the business itself.

Going back to an old workplace feels strange. You spend years somewhere, give your energy, build relationships and then life moves on for everyone. For me, life moved on too, but this time I was there as a founder trying to grow Ana Kurye.

During the day, people still recognized me from Instagram, YouTube and TikTok as Ozgur Motorcu Kadin. That always makes me happy because I have been creating motorcycle content for years. Now that personal identity is slowly meeting Ana Kurye.
Ana Kurye is more than a courier company to me. It is the next chapter of a real life: a woman riding, working, raising a child, learning business, handling daily responsibilities and building something from zero.
What the day taught me
By the end of the day, I had checked the motorcycle, crossed Istanbul, worked on the website, thought about SEO, met old colleagues and continued learning what it takes to grow a courier company. None of it was dramatic, but all of it was real.
