This was not a delivery day. It was one of those early business days where courage matters more than comfort. After sending my child to school, I got on my motorcycle and rode to Perpa to introduce Ana Kurye in person.

Perpa is one of Istanbul’s busiest commercial complexes, with thousands of shops, offices, medical suppliers, technical companies and small businesses working under the same roof. I had heard that more than 4,000 businesses operate there, and I told myself: I will start somewhere, speak to people one by one, and explain what Ana Kurye can do.

Every business card is a seed. It may not ring the phone today, but it can be remembered when an urgent delivery really matters.

Walking into Perpa for the first time

From outside, Perpa already feels big. Once you enter, it becomes a world of floors, blocks, corridors, offices, workshops, medical companies, electronics suppliers and people trying to keep their work moving. At first, I hesitated near the entrance. I knew I had to go in, but the first step felt heavy.

Then I said a quiet prayer, took the brochures in my hand and started. My opening line was simple: I am Ozlem from Ana Kurye. May I leave our card for your urgent motorcycle courier needs?

What Istanbul businesses really need from a courier

Some people said they did not use couriers. Some said, leave the card, we may need it. Some asked about timing, prices and routes. Others simply smiled and moved on. None of those reactions discouraged me, because field marketing teaches you something that online ads cannot: every business has a different delivery problem.

In Perpa, I saw a clear need for courier service in Istanbul. Some companies send documents. Some need samples moved the same day. Some have technical parts, small products or medical items that cannot wait for standard cargo. For those moments, same-day courier and urgent delivery are not a luxury; they protect the customer’s workflow.

The first real pricing conversation

One of the most exciting moments of the day was speaking with someone who actually asked for a quote. Giving a price sounds simple from the outside, but it is not only about distance. You have to think about time, route difficulty, traffic, urgency, the courier’s cost and the type of delivery.

That moment helped me understand the business side more clearly. A reliable courier company has to give a fair price, protect the customer’s trust and still respect the work behind the service.

Why medical companies caught my attention

The medical suppliers inside Perpa stood out to me. Ana Kurye already supports sensitive delivery needs such as pharmacy pickup, medical product delivery, document courier work and urgent handover requests. My own background in hospital marketing helped me understand why timing and trust are so important in this field.

A medical company may need a product delivered to a hospital, a sample sent across the city or a health-related item moved carefully on the same day. That is exactly where a reachable, responsible and well-communicating courier team can make a difference.

Being visible as a female founder

While handing out cards, I told many people that I was a female entrepreneur building this company from the ground up. Some conversations were short, but some were genuinely warm and supportive. Those moments mattered.

Ana Kurye is not only a courier brand to me. It is also the story of a woman riding her motorcycle, speaking to businesses, learning pricing, building trust and then going home to continue ordinary family life. That mix of responsibility, effort and hope is part of the brand.

Perpa was not finished; it had only started

By the end of the day, I realized I had not even finished one full section properly. Perpa is that large. My feet hurt, I was tired, and at one point I even struggled to remember where I had parked the motorcycle.

Still, it was a good day. Some businesses asked for an offer. Some said they might call later. Some said they could work with us. Maybe not every brochure turns into a customer immediately, but every honest conversation makes Ana Kurye a little more visible in Istanbul.
